My 22 years of counseling experience includes working with clients of all ages in both clinical and school settings. It is an honor to work with your children/teens as they grow and develop into amazing individuals. I know from being a mom, that this phase isn't always easy and full of laughter. When working with children/teens, I incorporate parent support which is important for family cohesiveness and attachment. Life as an adult can come with many stressors and challenges regardless of age. I work with young adults navigating the new challenges that come with independence. Balancing responsibilities, demands, and family needs is sometimes hard, and I'm here to help you find balance. A specialty of mine is working with individuals with ADHD and Autism. Part of the therapeutic goal in counseling will be understanding ones needs, strengths, and goals. I tailor treatment to fit each client's needs, interests, and goals. Each person's journey to wellness is different, so I meet each client where they are at providing support, validation, and teaching coping skills.
